Anaergia offers a full suite of waste processing equipment–both mechanical treatment and biological treatment. Our mechanical treatment technologies include a highly effective bag opener and shredder, screening and sorting equipment, cyclones, separators, and our unique OREX® extrusion press, which extracts 90% of organics without relying on consumers to sort and separate.

The recovered organic fraction of MSW can then be anaerobically digested in a standalone facility or co-digested with sludge at a wastewater treatment plant to create biogas or renewable natural gas.
